With aesthetic roots in the deep woods of Sweden, Anna-Kari has studied and worked in Sweden, Spain, and the United States, shaping a unique artistic perspective that blends cultural influences with traditional craftsmanship.

Her sculptural creations are deeply inspired by the organic nature of clay, infused with the simplicity and playfulness of Scandinavian design and a profound respect for the art of handcrafting. Rather than focusing on mass production, each item is hand-built and artfully glazed, making every piece a truly one-of-a-kind work of art.

For the lighting projects, thoughtful attention is given to how light interacts with its surroundings, creating an interplay of light and shadow that becomes an integral part of the sculpture.

Anna-Kari splits her time between her home studio in southern Skåne, Sweden, and her communal clay studio in northern New Jersey, U.S.
